to 14 parks maintained by the City of Georgetown, Lake
Georgetown -- with camping, picnic, swimming, fishing, and boating
areas are maintained by the Corps of Engineers. There is an
abundance of outdoor recreation in the community. Georgetown
also has a 12 mile hike and bike trail which begins at Lake
Georgetown, through Blue Hole Park and travels along the
river bank, ending in beautiful San Gabriel Park.
